Melting Point is the combination of two guys from very different parts of the globe. Calvin Bennett hails from the great State of Kansas where he earned a degree in Music Performance on Bass, but he refuses to let that ruin his playing. Terry Klemensen has dragged himself from the frozen tundra of Alaska and moved to the tropics of New York. Terry has a whacked out sense of humor that could only be attained from 12 years performing as a musician in the US Air Force bands. Together Calvin and Terry present a unique blend of classic bluegrass, think the Stanley Brothers, to total free form jamming, Grateful Dead on 'shrooms! We are a true band of bass players but Calvin has been forced to move beyond 4 strings. And yes, we can play "Freebird", but only if requested on a Jackson..
