David Heatley's band Angel Numbers plays an intimate set of wayward, tortured spiritual pop.
7:00pm-8:00pm

Graphic memoirist David Heatley brings the same dark, naive, lo-fi aesthetic to the songs he's been writing for the last two decades as he's done in his well-known drawings, illustrations and comics. Heatley's early 90s band Velvet Cactus Society recorded with Kramer on the legendary Shimmy Disc label, collaborated with east village anti-folk fixture John S. Hall, cracking CMJs college radio charts in the process.

Now with ANGEL NUMBERS, Heatley is backed by some of NYC's finest musicians, including the fiery Pete Galub on lead guitar, composer and multi-instrumentalist Dana Lyn on violin, Tango virtuoso Adam Tully on bass and the inimitable and prolific Alice Bierhorst on drums, this is his most ambitious project to date. Catch this exclusive, intimate set of wayward pop tunes for rock quintet--"tortured spirituals" for the millennial age.

All Region Player’s interpretations of soundtrack music are now accompanied by a crazy video made up of clips from hundreds of different movies!
8pm – 9pm

All Region Player do film and television soundtrack music in a style that could be described as surf improv. Bernard Herrmann and Jan Hammer meet on the Silver Streak! Dr. Kildare goes surfing in the wild west! Carrie brings Frank Booth to the prom!
At their last Branded show they played to a video projection, a 41-minute compilation of short clips from 672 different movies. For this show they plan to do it again, but with a brand new video!
Guitarist Rob Price was in Dim Sum Clip Job and has worked with John Zorn, Trevor Dunn, Joey Baron, Ellery Eskelin, Jim Black, Zeena Parkins, and many other fabulous people.
Bassist Ben Gallina leads the chamber-jazz outfit Salo, whose symphonic long-form compositions have been performed live on WKCR and at The Stone. Salo's debut album "Sundial Lotus" was hailed as "cinematic in scope" (All About Jazz) and "immensely compelling and melodically ornate" (Cadence).
Drummer Andy O'Neill leads the 1960s groove-based jazz group Score! and exotica combo The Juan Jaime Rosado Family Jazz Band.

Karaoke Tuesdays at 10 PM with the Jared Michael Gniewek Karaoke Warzone
10:00pm
The irreverent and raucous Jared Michael Gniewek Karaoke Warzone has been destroying popular music since 2010 when ex-metal singer and comic book
writer, Jared Michael Gniewek, began substituting for Bay Area karaoke
icon, KJ Paul. Upon leaving San Francisco, a fundraiser was held by
both enthusiasts and professionals alike to start the Warzone, sending him off to New York City saying “show
them how we do it.” His events consist of a positive and
jovial environment where people celebrate what karaoke is all about,
transforming pop music into folk music and making extroverts go too far.
